Tibetan Mastiff Muggles (Stormnangels Filosofer's Stone) won Best of Breed and Winner's Dog in Rapid City on Saturday, 20 October, 2007 at the Rapid City Kennel Club Show. Muggles is owned by Cheryl & Jim Mechalke and Breeder Lyse Stormont.

A group of Dr. Clark's clients (and their owners ;^) had a successful trip to the Garden City Kansas Kennel Club Dog Show, Obedience and Rally Trials on March 7-9, 2008, in Garden City, Kansas. The weather was agreeable, the venue was pleasant, and both Garden City and the Kennel Club were wonderful hosts. (If you visit Garden City, be sure to try Zarape's, The Grain Bin, and Sammy's Restaurants!).

Debbie Badillo's Australian Shepherd Kylie (Kylie Badillo Olson UD RA) got her Utility Dog (UD) title with two 2nd Place wins! Kylie also got her Rally Advanced (RA) title with 1st and 3rd Place wins in Utility A, three qualifying scores for the weekend.

Karen Nutter's Portuguese Water Dog Canoe (Blackjacks Whats Canoe Withu UDX) got another extra UDX leg with qualifying scores in Open B and Utility B (with a 4th Place).
Karen's other Portuguese Water Dog Ferry (Blackjack Anutterferrynautigirl RN) got her Rally Novice (RN) title with two 1st Place wins and one 2nd Place win.

Gail Clark's Portuguese Water Dog Shrimp (CH Shrmply Iresistbl Blkjks Rndwg CD RN) won Best Opposite Sex (BOS) in the Best of Breed Competition all three days. Shrimp also won her Companion Dog (CD) title with two 3d Place wins in Novice B.
Not to be outdone, Dr. Clark's Gordon Setter Deck (CH Conobtra Blckjack C Deck Run RN CDX) won 1st Place in Open A to wrap up his Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title.

Jon Richard's Parti-color Cocker Spaniel Beanie (Katchu's Beanie Baby UDX RN) tried Rally, and had a good time with one 2nd Place and two 1st Place wins to win her Rally Novice (RN) title.
Jon's other Parti-color Cocker Spaniel Ronin (CH Ebony Hills Evening Echo CD RA) qualified three times to win his Rally Advanced (RA) title.

Australian Shepherd Elvis (Graceland's Elvis RN) had an outstanding debut at the Longs Peak Dog Training Club Trials in Greeley, Colorado, January 19, 20, and 21. Owned by Shelby Lynn Enke, Elvis won 1st Place twice, and also had a 3rd Place ribbon to gain his Rally Novice Title.

Boston Terrier Maxwell (Maxwell RN) also had an awesome debut at the Longs Peak Dog Training Club Trials in Greeley, Colorado, January 19 to 21. Owned by Tricia and J. Ruble, Maxwell qualified in all three trials to win his Rally Novice Title.

Parti-color Cocker Spaniel Ronin (CH Ebony Hills Evening Echo RN CD) added two titles after his name! Owned by Jon Richards and bred by Susan Mullally Souza, Ronin had his obedience debut at the Longs Peak Dog Training Club Trials in Greeley, Colorado, January 19 to 21. A breed champion and no novice to dog shows, Ronin found the Rally and Obedience rings a lot more challenging, and provided an interesting spectacle as you can see in this video on YouTube.

Cairn Terrier Fremont (CH Cairncroft Brains And Brawn CD RN) earned his Companion Dog Title and Rally Novice Title at his first obedience trials in Rapid City, SD. Exhibited by Nancy McNair at the Rapid City Kennel Club Obedience Trials, this big little dog really stood out, earning a Companion Dog (CD) Title and Rally Novice (RN) Title. In Novice A Fremont won 1st Place on 19 October, 2007, followed by 3rd and 2nd Places on 20 and 21 October. In Rally Novice A he won 1st Place on 19 and 20 October, followed by 2nd Place on the 21st. Fremont is also a breed Champion, so now he has titles on both ends!

Dr. Gail Clark's Portuguese Water Dog Shrimp (Shrmply Iresistble Blkjks Rndwg) also had a good outing at the Rapid City Kennel Club Dog Show. Shrimp won Best of Breed (Portuguese Water Dogs) on October 20, 2007. She also took Best of Opposite Sex on October 19.

Irish Wolfhound Greenbryar Kauri took Best of Winners and Best of Breed at the Greeley Kennel Club Dog Show in Greeley, Colorado, on 19 August, 2007. Greenbryar Kauri is owned by Richard and Nancy White.

Two dogs training with Dr. Clark received Utility Dog Excellent (UDX) Titles at the Greeley Kennel Club Dog Shows held in Greeley, Colorado, on 18 and 19 August, 2007. UDX is the highest level title in obedience. It requires that the dog have a Utility Dog Title, and then have qualifying scores in both Open B and Utility B Classes on the same day on 10 (ten!) separate occasions.
CH Blackjacks Whats Canoe Withu UDX (Canoe), owned by Karen Nutter received her UDX Title on 19 August, 2007. Canoe is a Portuguese Water Dog.
